I’ve been a stress-head most of my life. The constant stress of trying to achieve a little better, accomplish a little more has always weighed heavy on my shoulders. Recently I have discovered that I am at my best when I take better care of my physical body.
I have noticed that when I eat better, I have more energy and I am able to focus better. When I get better sleep, I have a tendency to be more effective when I work and whatever I accomplish has a tendency to be a better quality.
For example, I recently started eating whole-grain cereals for breakfast. In the past, I would drink a cup of coffee and maybe take a multi-vitamin. I’ve noticed that the complex carbohydrates and nutrients in the grains give me more energy and that has caused me to have a more positive outlook on life.
